the Use of Force and security
Department's and Agency's authorize the Use of Force
in circumstances specified within
their individual
state, county, or local laws, rules, policies, or procedures.
In such circumstances where force is authorized, the type, amount and
manner of the Use of Force authorized will be further
specified within their individual state,
county, or local laws, rules, policies, or procedures.
Correctional Employees are authorized to apply Physical Force when and
to the degree that it reasonably appears necessary to maintain
Legitimate Correctional
Objectives. |
