From our Executive Director:

American Correctional Officer and the American Correctional Officers Intelligence Network wish you and yours the very best for 2008.

In our first year we have made some incredible gains and distributed hundreds of pages of timely information to help our fellow Officers across the nation. One of our greatest accomplishments is the establishment of and contributions to TEN BENEVOLENT FUNDS, to help our brothers and sisters across the land. The level of contributions we make are the direct result of the number of individual members we have. The more of you who join the more Officers and their families we can help.
When you join us, between 25% and 50% of your dues are sent to a benevolent fund for Correctional Officers in your jurisdiction. The level of contribution is determined by what membership level you join and whether or not the organization that represents are ACO organizationals members.
At the $15 and $20 dollar level you also protect your family with our $110,000.00 AD&D plan. This benefit also includes a $25,000 hospitalization benefit and dismemberment coverage as well. I don't need to tell you how dangerous our jobs are or that accidents are the fifth leading cause of death in the nation. You all ready know that. But did you know that for 20 CENTS a day you can protect your family, promote your profession, donate to a fund design specifically to help your fellow Officers, strengthen our national voice and receive the most timely information about corrections in the nation? For 20 CENTS!
Don't wait another year. If you are not a member yet, what are you waiting for? You can't buy a pack of gum, can of soda pop or newspaper for 20 cents.
Below is a document.  Look at what you missed if you we're not a member and where are going into the future and join today.
