From ACO National Director Aaron:

I am honored and humbled to be selected as the first Retiree National Director.  I hope to bring to the Organization some insight that once you retire you don't have anything to do with the Prison(s) and departments you worked for all those years.  Being a Correctional Officer is not just a job, it is a profession, a way of life.  Once you have WALKED THE WALK you will always be a CORRECTIONAL OFFICER.  People in your life have told you they couldn't do that job!  They are right.  They couldn't but you CAN, and all of us retirees DID!  BE SAFE!
